- Six agency tools that didn't make the cut
- Which tool fits your agency, from 1 client to 30+
- How agency tools price you: per seat, per profile or per client
- Best social media management tool for agencies, by situation
The best social media management tools for agencies price per client rather than per seat and let clients approve posts without logging in: Pallyy ($99 for 10 clients), SocialPilot ($140, or $200 with full white label) and Metricool ($67) cover most agencies, while Agorapulse, Sprout Social and Hootsuite cost 6 to 12 times more for the same roster. Pallyy publishes this guide and ranks its own product first, and every entry says where another tool is the better choice.
We priced all 12 tools against the same agency: 10 clients, 3 staff, about 30 social profiles, no client on X, with client approvals and client-facing reporting included. Prices are USD on monthly billing unless the vendor only publishes annual rates, checked on 4 November 2026.
Key takeaways
- Pallyy Agency is the cheapest all-inclusive option for a 10-client agency at $99 a month: 10 client brands with up to 11 accounts each, 3 users, no-login link approvals, custom reports and X, with nothing to add on. Metricool Advanced is cheaper at $67 if every client has one account per network and you pay $10 a month per X account.
- Eight of the twelve tools let clients approve posts without a login: Pallyy, SocialPilot, Metricool, Vista Social, Cloud Campaign, Agorapulse, Sked Social and ContentStudio. Sprout Social does it by email on its top plan. Sendible, Planable and Hootsuite still need the client to hold an account.
- The cheapest full white-label platform, with your domain on the dashboard and login page, is SocialPilot Ultimate at $200 a month. Cloud Campaign Team is $344 for the same 10 clients with a rebranded dashboard, its custom domain needs the $299 Agency plan, and it does not publish to X. ContentStudio undercuts both for unlimited workspaces and users at $139 a month plus a $50 white-label add-on.
- Per-seat suites cost 6 to 12 times Pallyy's $99 for the same agency: Agorapulse Advanced is $647 on annual or $897 on monthly billing, and Sprout Social and Hootsuite Advanced are $1,197 a month on annual billing for three seats.
- Three of the twelve tools charge for X or lack it: Metricool adds $10 a month per X account, Vista Social adds $29 a month, and Cloud Campaign does not publish to X.
What agencies need that single-brand teams don't
An agency tool has to solve three problems a single brand never meets: keeping every client's accounts, media and approvals separate, getting sign-off from people who will never log in to your software, and reporting in a way that looks like it came from you. Most tools handle the first with workspaces, social sets, brands or groups. The second and third are where plans diverge, and where the entry price stops meaning anything.
That's why the comparison leads with the 10-client cost rather than the starting price: a $20 plan that charges per seat or gates approvals behind its top tier costs an agency something very different from its headline number.
If you came here looking for a social media scheduler for agencies rather than a management tool, the shortlist is the same. Every tool below schedules posts across client accounts; what separates them is how clients approve, how reports reach them and what unit the bill grows by, not the scheduling itself.
Social media management tools for agencies, compared side by side
The 10-client cost is the cheapest plan that covers the scenario above with approvals and client reports included, and each entry shows the working.

Sprout Social and Hootsuite publish annual-billing prices only, so their figures are marked annual, and ContentStudio's headline prices are annual so both figures are shown. Extra profiles, workspaces and analytics add-ons are included in the 10-client figure wherever the scenario needs them, and X add-ons are listed separately. Each entry below shows the working.

How we compared these tools
Every figure in this comparison comes from the vendor's own pricing page or help centre, not from review sites or other roundups. The order is not a scored ranking: Pallyy is first because client scheduling with approvals is the workflow we build for, and the other nine run from the cheapest per-client tools to the per-seat enterprise suites. Seven criteria decided the comparison; the first five are the columns of the main table and the last two have their own table above:
- 10-client cost on the cheapest plan that includes approvals and client reports, with the working shown in each entry.
- Client approvals without a login, meaning a client can approve or reject a post from a link or an email without creating an account.
- White labelling, split into branded reports, a branded dashboard or portal, and a custom domain, because vendors use the term for all three.
- Pricing unit, because per-seat pricing punishes agencies whose approvers outnumber their publishers.
- Unified inbox and which plan includes it.
- X support, because three of the twelve tools charge extra for X publishing or do not offer it.
- Free plan or trial, and whether a card is required.
1. Pallyy: best for agencies and freelancers paying per client

Pallyy organises everything around the social set: one client brand with up to 11 connected accounts. The Agency plan includes 10 of them and 3 team users for $99, so the agency in our scenario pays nothing extra. Clients never need a login. You share a calendar link, they preview, comment and approve from their phone, and approved content publishes at its scheduled time. The link can sit on your own domain, so there's no Pallyy in the URL the client sees.
Pricing is per social set with users bundled in, so the agency in our scenario pays nothing beyond the $99 Agency plan. Where Pallyy stops short of a white-label platform is the dashboard itself: your team works in Pallyy's interface, custom reports export as PDFs rather than from a client portal under your brand, and there is no social listening or SSO.
Best for: agencies and freelance social media managers who want client approvals without client logins, priced per client brand rather than per seat.
10-client cost: $99 a month on Agency, which includes 10 social sets, 3 users, approvals on every set and custom reports. Extra sets and users are $10 each.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| No-login client approvals on every paid plan | No white-labelled dashboard |
| 10 clients and 3 users for $99 | No social listening or SSO |
| Client links on your own domain | Pro is single-user |
About Pallyy
Pallyy calls itself "the social media scheduler for all your clients": plan every client's posts in one place, get sign-off from a shared link, and pay per client, not per channel. In practice that means one social set per client with its own calendar, approvals, inbox and reports, and clients who never need a login.
Key features
- One social set per client covering Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business, YouTube, X, Threads and Bluesky
- Shared calendar links where clients comment and approve without an account
- Custom domain for client-facing links
- Custom reports with PDF export on Agency and Scale
- Shared inbox on every paid plan
- MCP server and API on every paid plan
- Editor, Collaborator or Viewer role for each team member, per social set
Pallyy pricing
Pallyy prices per social set with users bundled in; the free plan never asks for a card, and the 14-day trial of paid plans asks for one but charges nothing during the trial.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 social set, 15 image posts a month |
| Pro | $25/month, or $20 yearly | 1 social set, 1 user, approvals, shared calendar, custom domain |
| Agency | $99/month, or $79 yearly | 10 social sets, 3 users, custom reports |
| Scale | $199/month, or $165 yearly | 30 social sets, 10 users |
| Add-ons | $10/month each | Extra set on Pro or Agency, extra user on Agency |
2. SocialPilot: best full white label on a budget

SocialPilot has no workspace concept. Clients are invited as users scoped to their own accounts, and the help centre confirms that clients receive an approval link by email whether or not they ever sign in. That makes Premium a genuine no-login approval setup at $140 for our scenario, and Ultimate at $200 is the cheapest way in this list to put your own domain on the login page.
Essentials and Standard have no client approvals, so the advertised $20 is not an agency price. Separation is by account permissions rather than per-client workspaces, which gets fiddly past a few dozen clients, and there is a 14-day trial with no card.
Best for: agencies that want a rebranded dashboard, domain and login page at the lowest published price.
10-client cost: $140 a month on Premium: $100 for 20 accounts and 6 seats, plus 10 extra accounts at $4 each. Client seats are free and unlimited on Premium. Ultimate is $200 for 40 accounts, unlimited users and the full white label.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Email approvals with no client login on Premium | No client approvals below Premium |
| Full white label for $200 on Ultimate | No per-client workspaces |
| Free client seats from Premium | Entry plan is single-user |
About SocialPilot
SocialPilot calls itself "the only social media management platform you will need to drive growth", a scheduling and management tool that "helps agencies and brands to grow their presence on social media". In practice it is the budget option for bulk scheduling, email-based client approvals and white-label reporting.
Key features
- Client approvals through an approve-on-the-go email link, no login, on Premium and up
- White-label reports on Premium
- Full white label on Ultimate: dashboard colours, logo, favicon, custom domain and sending email
- Bulk scheduling by CSV
- Social inbox from Standard up
- Free client seats from Premium
SocialPilot pricing
SocialPilot bundles accounts and seats; client approvals and white-label reports start on Premium, and there is a 14-day trial with no card.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $20/month, or $17 yearly | 5 accounts, 1 user |
| Standard | $40/month, or $34 yearly | 10 accounts, 3 users, inbox, internal approvals |
| Premium | $100/month, or $85 yearly | 20 accounts, 6 users, client approvals, white-label reports, free client seats |
| Ultimate | $200/month, or $170 yearly | 40 accounts, unlimited users, full white label |
| Add-ons | $4/month per account; $5/month per user | Extra accounts on any paid plan; extra users on Standard and Premium |
3. Metricool: best analytics-led reporting on a budget

A Metricool brand holds one profile per network, so a client with two Instagram accounts needs two brands. Our 10-client agency fits the 15-brand tier with room for five such cases. Starter is out for agencies: it has no team members and no approvals. Full white labelling, including a custom URL and branded emails, only exists on the Custom plan, with no published price.
Advanced is the plan to budget for: unlimited team members, and email approvals for reviewers who have no Metricool account. X costs $10 a month per connected account, and VAT is added on top of the listed prices.
Best for: small agencies and freelancers whose client work is mostly reporting, with approvals and team access included at a low price.
10-client cost: $67 a month on the 15-brand Advanced tier, plus $10 a month for every X account you connect, plus VAT where applicable.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| $67 for 15 brands with email approvals | One profile per network per brand |
| Organic, paid and web analytics together | X costs $10 per account |
| Unlimited team members on Advanced | White label only on Custom |
About Metricool
Metricool pitches itself as one tool to "plan, measure, and manage it all", with web analytics, ad data and social scheduling "in the same tab", and "free to use for as long as you want". In practice it is an analytics product with scheduling built in, and the cheapest option here that still includes external approvals.
Key features
- Organic, paid and web analytics in one report
- External reviewers approve by email without a Metricool account on Advanced and up
- Unlimited team members on Advanced
- Customisable report templates on Advanced
- Inbox on every plan, with LinkedIn and X from Starter
- Free plan for one brand
Metricool pricing
Metricool prices by brand tier, excludes VAT, and charges $10 a month for each connected X account on paid plans; the free plan needs no card.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 brand, 20 posts a month, no LinkedIn or X |
| Starter | $25/month, or $20 yearly | 5 brands; $45 or $36 for 10 brands; no team members or approvals |
| Advanced | $67/month, or $53 yearly | 15 brands, unlimited users, email approvals; $107 for 25 brands, $210 for 50 |
| Custom | Contact | White label, custom URL, branded emails |
| Add-ons | $10/month per X account; advanced analytics from $12 | X access on paid plans; deeper analytics |
4. Vista Social: best for publishing plus reviews and listening

Vista Social's shared calendar links can expire, carry a password, and let clients leave a note with each decision. Professional does not include it, so agencies start at Advanced. The full white label, with your domain on the dashboard and shared calendars, sits on Scale at $449.
Advanced covers exactly 30 profiles and 3 users with 10 shared calendars, one per client in our scenario, which is why it prices the scenario at $199. X is a $29 add-on on every plan, no plan has unlimited users, and extra profiles below Scale generally mean upgrading rather than adding.
Best for: small and mid-sized agencies that handle reviews and community management alongside publishing.
10-client cost: $199 a month on Advanced, which covers exactly 30 profiles and 3 users and includes 10 shared calendars, so an eleventh client means Scale at $449. Add $29 a month if any client is on X.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| No-login approvals via shared calendars | Client approvals start at $199 |
| Inbox, reviews and reporting included | X is a $29 add-on |
| Branded PDF reports on Advanced | No unlimited-user plan |
About Vista Social
Vista Social calls itself an "AI-powered command center for social media" and "the #1 AI SMM", with "expertly crafted social media management tools to help you exceed your goals". In practice it is an all-in-one platform covering publishing, inbox, reviews, reporting and link in bio, sold as bundles of profiles and users.
Key features
- Publishing, unified inbox, review management and reporting in one tool
- Profile groups that keep each client's content and analytics separate
- Shared calendars where clients approve or reject with only a name and email, on Advanced and up
- Branded PDF reports on Advanced
- White-labelled dashboard and custom domain on Scale
- Link-in-bio page
Vista Social pricing
Vista Social bundles profiles and users, charges $29 a month for X, and offers a 14-day trial with no card and no free plan.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Professional | $99/month, or $950 yearly | 15 profiles, 2 users, inbox |
| Advanced | $199/month, or $1,910 yearly | 30 profiles, 3 users, shared calendars, branded PDF reports |
| Scale | $449/month, or $4,310 yearly | 70 profiles, 4 users, white-label dashboard and domain |
| Add-on | $29/month | X publishing, boosting, automations and analytics |
5. Sendible: best for one workspace per client with unlimited users

Sendible's approvals are solid but they run through a client login. Logins are free and unlimited, so the cost is onboarding rather than money, but a client who refuses to create another account will stall. Core doesn't include assigning posts for approval, so agencies start at Plus ($99) and need Premium for branded reports. The white label add-on takes Elite to a published $349 a month all-in.
Pricing is by workspace of six profiles, so a 10-client roster is $199 on Premium if clients share its seven workspaces, or $274 with a workspace each. Elite's 15 workspaces cost $299 before the white label add-on, and every plan comes with unlimited users.
Best for: agencies that want a dedicated dashboard per client and don't want to count seats.
10-client cost: $199 a month on Premium if you fit 30 profiles into its 7 workspaces and separate clients with client dashboards, or $274 if every client gets a workspace (Premium plus 3 extra workspaces at $25). Elite at $299 includes 15 workspaces outright.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Unlimited users on every plan | Clients approve from a login, not a link |
| A workspace and dashboard per client | White label is a paid add-on on Elite |
| Branded reports from Premium | Each extra client adds a workspace cost |
About Sendible
Sendible's pitch is "no nonsense social media management with unlimited users": "we don't punish you for growing your team", with white labelling and dedicated workspaces for agencies and multi-location brands "at a fraction of the cost of Hoot, Sprout, or Agora". In practice it is an agency platform priced by client workspace, with approvals that run through a free client login.
Key features
- Workspaces of 6 profiles each, with unlimited users on every plan
- Client dashboards where clients preview and approve content
- Custom branded reports and automatically emailed reports on Premium and up
- Priority inbox on every plan (excludes X, Google Business, TikTok and Instagram DMs)
- Full white label of dashboard, domain, reports and emails as an add-on on Elite and Enterprise
- Report builder and content suggestions
Sendible pricing
Sendible bundles workspaces of six profiles with unlimited users on every plan, with a 14-day trial and no card required.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Core | $35/month, or $29.75 yearly | 1 workspace |
| Plus | $99/month, or $84.15 yearly | 3 workspaces, assign posts for approval |
| Premium | $199/month, or $169.15 yearly | 7 workspaces, custom branded reports, automated reports |
| Elite | $299/month, or $254.15 yearly | 15 workspaces; white label add-on takes it to $349 |
| Enterprise | $750/month, or $637.50 yearly | 50 workspaces |
| Extra workspace | $35 to $15/month | Cheaper on higher plans |
6. Cloud Campaign: best for agencies selling social under their own brand

Cloud Campaign is the only tool here that pairs no-login approvals on every plan with a rebranded dashboard from Team up, and the only one other than Pallyy with no-login approvals on every paid plan. The gap is network coverage: it publishes to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads and Google Business Profile, and does not publish to X at all. Any client who posts on X needs a second tool.
Standard white labelling arrives on Team, and the custom domain and email need Agency at $299, which does not publish how many workspaces it includes. There is no free plan, and the 10-client cost is more than three times Pallyy's.
Best for: agencies that resell social media management as a branded service and need the client-facing surfaces to carry their name.
10-client cost: $344 a month on Team: $199 plus 5 extra workspaces at $29 each. On annual billing it's $285. Freelancer would be $490 for 10 workspaces with no white label, and Agency ($299) does not publish how many workspaces it includes.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| No-login approval links on every plan | Does not publish to X |
| Rebranded dashboard from Team up | $344 for 10 clients |
| Unlimited users on every plan | No free plan |
About Cloud Campaign
Cloud Campaign calls itself "the white-label social media management platform", "built to support rapidly growing agencies and SaaS products", under the homepage headline "agency-friendly social media management". In practice it is a per-workspace platform whose selling point is that every client-facing surface carries your brand.
Key features
- Brand workspaces with unlimited users on every plan
- Tokenised approval links with no client login on every plan
- Standard white labelling on Team covering the dashboard and client-facing surfaces
- Custom domain and email on Agency
- White-labelled PDF and CSV reports
- Unified inbox, AI captions and a managed content add-on
Cloud Campaign pricing
Cloud Campaign prices by brand workspace with unlimited users; there is a 14-day trial and no free plan, and nothing publishes to X.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Freelancer | $49/month, or $41 yearly | 1 workspace, 7 accounts per client; extra workspace $49 |
| Team | $199/month, or $165 yearly | 5 workspaces, unlimited accounts, standard white label; extra workspace $29 |
| Agency | $299/month, or $249 yearly | Advanced white label with custom domain and email; extra workspace $35; included workspaces not published |
| Add-on | $99/month per workspace | CloudStudio managed content |
7. Planable: best for multi-step approval chains

Planable is the only tool here with optional, required and multi-level approval layers, but formal approval needs the client to hold an account. Approver accounts are free and the client only has to accept an invitation, while public share links let people view and comment without approving. There is no white labelling, and the help centre says it is no longer offered. Per-workspace pricing with paid add-ons is what pushes a 10-client setup past $700.
Pricing is per workspace with unlimited users, so it suits a few brands with many reviewers and gets expensive with many clients. Analytics ($14) and the inbox ($9) are per-workspace add-ons, and the first 50 posts are free with no time limit and no card.
Best for: teams where brand, legal and client all sign off in sequence before anything publishes.
10-client cost: $730 a month: 10 Pro workspaces at $59 plus the analytics add-on at $14 per workspace for client reports. Basic with optional approvals and 4 pages per client would be $530.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Optional, required and multi-level approvals | Approvers need a Planable account |
| Unlimited users on every plan | No white labelling |
| Previews mirror the live network | $730 for 10 clients with reports |
About Planable
Planable calls itself a "collaboration-first social media management tool" to "plan social like a team": plan, approve and schedule content with analytics and a social inbox in one place, "trusted by 7,000+ teams". In practice it is an approval workflow with a scheduler attached, priced per workspace.
Key features
- Approval layers from optional to required to multi-level
- Comments attached to the post preview
- Unlimited users on every plan
- A workspace per client, brand or location
- Public share links for viewing and commenting
- Analytics, inbox and listening as per-workspace add-ons
Planable pricing
Planable prices per workspace with unlimited users, offers no white labelling, and gives you the first 50 posts free with no time limit and no card.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $39/workspace/month, or $33 yearly | 4 pages, 60 posts, optional approvals |
| Pro | $59/workspace/month, or $49 yearly | 10 pages, 150 posts, required approvals |
| Enterprise | Custom | 50 pages, unlimited posts, multi-level approvals, analytics and inbox included |
| Add-ons | $14 analytics, $9 inbox, $99 listening | Per workspace per month, 30-day trial on paid plans |
8. Agorapulse: best for inbox-heavy community management

Agorapulse's shared calendar is a proper no-login approval tool, and the agency page notes it saves you adding clients to the subscription. The problem is everything around it: per-user pricing, 10 profiles per subscription before add-ons, and the 5-calendar cap below Custom. X publishing is included as X Lite, and inbox and reporting for X cost $50 per profile per month.
Advanced is the first plan with shared calendars, and three users on it with 30 profiles is $897 a month on monthly billing or $647 on annual. Unlimited and branded shared calendars need the Custom plan, which has no public price.
Best for: agencies whose retainers are mostly replying, moderating and reporting on engagement.
10-client cost: $897 a month on monthly billing for Advanced: 3 users at $199 plus 20 extra profiles at $15. On annual billing it's $647 (3 x $149 plus 20 x $10). Advanced is capped at 5 shared calendars, so 10 clients with their own approval calendar means the Custom plan, which has no public price.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Strongest inbox in the list | Per-user pricing |
| No-login approvals via shared calendars | Five shared calendars max below Custom |
| Branded reports on every plan | X inbox costs $50 per profile |
About Agorapulse
Agorapulse describes itself as "an easy to use social media management software" for "inbox, publishing, reporting, monitoring, and team collaboration", under the tagline "from engagement to ROI". In practice the unified inbox is the centre of the product, and the per-user price is built for community management teams rather than client rosters.
Key features
- Unified inbox with assignment, labels and saved replies
- Shared calendars where external people approve, reject and comment from a magic link, on Advanced and up
- White-label reports on every plan
- Response-time reporting
- Approval workflows from Professional
- X Lite publishing included; X Plus add-on for inbox and reporting
Agorapulse pricing
Agorapulse charges per user with 10 profiles per subscription; a 30-day trial with no card leads into a limited free plan.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $99/user/month, or $79 yearly | 10 profiles, inbox, X Lite publishing |
| Professional | $149/user/month, or $119 yearly | Simple approval workflows |
| Advanced | $199/user/month, or $149 yearly | Shared calendars for no-login client approvals, max 5 |
| Custom | Contact | Unlimited shared calendars, branded calendars |
| Add-ons | $15/profile/month ($10 yearly); $50 per X profile | Extra profiles; X inbox and reporting |
9. Sprout Social: best for enterprise clients and premium analytics

Sprout Social is a different budget tier, and it earns it with analytics and care tooling the rest of this list doesn't attempt. For an agency the structure is the issue: every person who logs in is a paid seat, external approvals only arrive on the top self-serve plan, and the listed monthly-billing price exists only for Essentials.
Advanced is $399 per seat on annual billing, so three seats is $1,197 a month with unlimited profiles. Sprout's help centre says you can add up to three external approvers, so check whether that covers 10 clients before signing.
Best for: agencies serving enterprise clients who expect listening, presentation-grade reporting and customer care workflows.
10-client cost: $1,197 a month on annual billing for Advanced with 3 seats and unlimited profiles.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Premium analytics and listening | $399 per seat for client approvals |
| Client groups with separate permissions | Up to three external approvers |
| External approvers by email on Advanced | Annual billing only above Essentials |
About Sprout Social
Sprout Social promises to "maximize your social ROI", "trusted by 30k+ brands", with "powerful tools" spanning publishing, engagement, analytics and influencer marketing. In practice it is a premium per-seat platform whose reporting and customer care tooling justify the price for agencies serving enterprise clients.
Key features

| Professional | $299/seat/month, annual | Unlimited profiles, approval workflows, branded PDF reports |

10. Hootsuite: best for large teams, listening and compliance

Hootsuite's approvals are built for teams, not clients. The vendor's pages describe who on your team can approve content and a "mark as approved" option for recording a decision a client made somewhere else, such as email. There is no shared link or email approval. For agencies that is the dealbreaker.
Advanced is the plan that carries approval workflows and a logo on reports, at $399 per user on annual billing. Three users is $1,197 a month, and 10 approving clients would mean 13 seats at $5,187.
Best for: large, multi-region teams that need listening, paid-ads integration and compliance controls more than they need client self-service.
10-client cost: $1,197 a month on annual billing for Advanced with 3 users and unlimited accounts. Clients cannot approve without a paid seat.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Listening, ads and compliance in one suite | No client approvals without a paid seat |
| Unlimited accounts from Professional | $1,197 for three seats, annual |
| Logo on reports on Advanced | No free plan |
About Hootsuite
Hootsuite calls itself "rated #1 in social media management" and "everything social, one place, connected by AI", bringing "scheduling, content creation, analytics, and social listening to one place". In practice it is an enterprise suite priced per user, built for internal teams rather than client sign-off.
Key features
- Team permissions and departmental organisation
- Post approval workflows on Advanced and up
- Logo on reports on Advanced and up
- Centralised inbox on every plan
- Listening and advanced inbox as add-ons
- Broad network support including X
Hootsuite pricing
Hootsuite charges per user on annual billing, publishes no monthly prices, and offers a 14-day trial with no card and no free plan.

|---|---|---|
| Standard | $99/user/month, annual | 10 social accounts, inbox |
| Professional | $199/user/month, annual | Unlimited accounts |
| Advanced | $399/user/month, annual | Approval workflows, logo on reports |
| Enterprise | Custom | Unlimited users, advanced inbox |
11. Sked Social: best for multi-location sign-off

Sked Social is built around sign-off: a no-login review portal for clients and franchisees, native auto-publishing to eight networks including Instagram Stories with link stickers, and an inbox with Google review management. One flat price covers a bundle of users and profiles, with no post caps.
Accelerate is $199 a month for six users and ten profiles with approvals, custom reports and PDF or Excel exports; Grow at $69 has neither approvals nor exports. Our scenario needs 20 extra profiles at $10 each, which is why the 10-client cost lands at $399, and a white-label domain for the review links sits on the Custom plan.
Best for: multi-location brands and agencies whose clients or franchisees must sign off before anything publishes.
10-client cost: $399 a month on Accelerate: $199 plus 20 extra profiles at $10 each. Six users are included, so the three staff cost nothing extra.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Login-free client approvals on Accelerate | $399 for the 10-client scenario |
| Flat price for 6 users and 10 profiles | Threads and Snapchat notification-only |
| Native Stories and Reels publishing | Planner covers Instagram only |
About Sked Social
Sked Social calls itself "the social media management platform where nothing goes live until the right person signs off", "the social workspace for teams that answer for what other people publish", with "login-free client and franchisee approvals". In practice it is a flat-priced workspace with approvals, an inbox and native auto-publishing, including Instagram Stories with link stickers.
Key features
- Login-free review portal for client and franchisee approvals on Accelerate and up
- Auto-publishing to Instagram (feed, Reels, carousels, Stories), Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, X and Google Business Profile
- Instagram planner
- Unified inbox with Google review management
- Custom reports with PDF and Excel export on Accelerate
- Competitor tracking and listening summaries
- MCP connection for AI agents

12. ContentStudio: best for client workspaces with unlimited users

ContentStudio gives agencies a workspace per client, magic-link approvals that need no client account, a social inbox and competitor benchmarks, across eleven networks including X, Bluesky, Threads and Google Business Profile. It is now pitched as an AI agent that drafts and publishes on-brand content.
Agency Unlimited is $139 a month on monthly billing, or $99 billed yearly, for 25 accounts with unlimited workspaces and users, and the white-label add-on with custom domain, branded emails and reports is $50 on top. Standard has no approvals or inbox, so small agencies start on Advanced at $69.
Best for: agencies with many staff and client workspaces that want approvals without logins at a mid-market price.
10-client cost: $139 a month on Agency Unlimited on monthly billing, or $99 billed yearly, covering 25 accounts with unlimited workspaces and users. Add $50 for the white-label add-on.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Magic-link approvals without an account | Headline prices are annual |
| Unlimited users and workspaces for $139 | Standard has no approvals or inbox |
| Eleven networks including Bluesky and Google Business | White label is a $50 add-on |
About ContentStudio
ContentStudio calls itself a "unified social media management tool", now pitched as an "AI social media manager that never sleeps" that "knows your brand, creates and publishes on-brand content and learns what works". In practice it is a mid-market all-in-one with workspaces per client, magic-link approvals and a white-label add-on.
Key features
- Unified calendar for 11 networks including X, Bluesky, Threads and Google Business Profile
- Approval workflow with magic-link approvals and a client dashboard on Advanced

| Add-ons | $5 account, $10 user, $10 workspace; $50 white label | Advanced add-ons; white label on Agency |
Six agency tools that didn't make the cut
Buffer, Later, SocialBee, Publer, Loomly and Zoho Social were priced for the same 10-client scenario and each fails at least one criterion, usually no-login client approvals or white labelling.
- Buffer charges per channel, so 30 channels on Team (the only plan with approvals) is $195 a month on monthly billing. Approvals are team-based with no stated client link, and the branded reports on Team are the extent of its white labelling. Our Buffer alternatives roundup covers the field.
- Later sells social sets of one profile per platform. Ten clients on Scale with four extra sets is $127.50 a month on annual billing, and its external link is a comment workflow rather than an approve button. White labelling is not mentioned on its pricing page.
- SocialBee needs its Pro50 agency plan for 10 workspaces at $179 a month. Branded report exports are listed on Pro only, and no login-free client approval is stated.
- Publer is cheap per account, about $195 a month for 30 accounts on Business, but client reviewers count as paid members and white labelling is not offered.
- Loomly jumps from 12 accounts on Starter to 60 on Beyond, so 30 profiles costs $332 a month on monthly billing. Custom branding, including a branded subdomain, exists only on Beyond.
- Zoho Social has a real Agency plan at $320 a month for 10 clients with agency-branded reports and portal customisation, but clients approve through a free login, the team is capped at five members, and the price you see depends on your region.
Which tool fits your agency, from 1 client to 30+
| Your agency | Top pick | Runner-up |
|---|---|---|
| Freelancer with 1 to 3 clients who approve posts | Pallyy Pro, $45 for three social sets | Metricool Advanced, $67, if reporting matters more |
| Small agency with up to 10 clients on a tight budget | Pallyy Agency, $99 | SocialPilot Premium, $140 |
| Agency selling a fully branded platform | SocialPilot Ultimate, $200 | Cloud Campaign Team, $344, if no client posts on X |
| Agency or multi-location brand with up to 30 clients | Pallyy Scale, $199 for 30 sets and 10 users | Sendible Elite, $299 for 15 workspaces and 90 profiles |
| Franchise or multi-location sign-off | Sked Social Accelerate, $199 for 6 users and 10 profiles | Pallyy Scale, $199 for 30 sets |
| Agency with many staff and client workspaces | ContentStudio Agency Unlimited, $139 | Sendible Elite, $299 |
| Agency serving enterprise clients | Sprout Social Advanced | Hootsuite Advanced |
| Community management and engagement retainers | Agorapulse | Vista Social |
| Multi-stakeholder sign-off chains | Planable Pro | Sprout Social Advanced |
| Analytics-led reporting for many small brands | Metricool Advanced | Vista Social Advanced |
The dividing line at 10 clients is the client-facing layer. If clients approve by email and one account per network is enough, Metricool does it for $67 and SocialPilot for $140. If clients approve from a link on your domain and can hold several accounts per network, Pallyy Agency does it for $99. If the dashboard your team uses also has to carry your brand, SocialPilot Ultimate is $200, ContentStudio Agency Unlimited with its white-label add-on is $189, and Cloud Campaign Team is $344.
How agency tools price you: per seat, per profile or per client
Every tool in this list uses one of three pricing units, and the unit predicts your bill better than the starting price does.
- Per seat or per user (Agorapulse, Sprout Social, Hootsuite). Every person who logs in costs money, which punishes agencies because approvers and clients outnumber publishers. Three staff on the plan with approvals cost $647 to $1,197 a month, and clients approve by email or shared link or not at all.
- Per profile or per channel (Buffer, Publer, SocialPilot's add-ons). Cheap for one brand, linear for thirty. The bill tracks the client's network count rather than the work you do for them.
- Per client, brand or workspace (Pallyy, Sendible, Cloud Campaign, Planable, Metricool). The bill tracks your client roster, and users are either included or unlimited. This is the model built for agencies, and the spread within it is still wide: $67 to $730 a month for the same 10 clients, depending on what the plan bundles and what it sells as an add-on.
If you're also working out what to charge clients for the service itself, our guide to social media management pricing covers the rates and packages.
Best social media management tool for agencies, by situation
For a freelancer or agency whose clients approve and whose team publishes, start with Pallyy: $99 for 10 clients, approvals on a link from the first paid plan, and no seats to count. If the dashboard itself has to carry your brand, trial SocialPilot Ultimate first and Cloud Campaign Team second, unless a client posts on X. Metricool is the budget pick when reporting is the product. Agorapulse is for inbox-led retainers, Planable for sign-off chains, and Sprout Social or Hootsuite when an enterprise client's requirements set the budget. Franchises and multi-location brands that need every location to sign off should trial Sked Social, and agencies with lots of staff and client workspaces should trial ContentStudio.
Trial two of them side by side with one real client: send the same post for approval from each and note which one the client can act on without creating an account.
Social media management tools for agencies FAQ
What is the best social media management tool for agencies?
Pallyy is the best value for agencies that need client approvals and reports, at $99 a month for 10 client brands, 3 users, no-login link approvals, custom reports and X included. Metricool Advanced is cheaper at $67 if every client has one account per network. SocialPilot Ultimate is the best choice if the dashboard must carry your brand, at $200 a month, and Sprout Social suits agencies whose enterprise clients will pay for premium analytics.
What is the best social media scheduler for agencies?
For scheduling alone, every tool in this list covers the same ground: a calendar per client, queues or bulk upload, and publishing to the main networks. The best social media scheduler for agencies is therefore the one whose approvals and pricing fit your roster. Pallyy is the pick for agencies whose clients approve from a link, at $99 for 10 client brands with users included. Metricool is the cheapest scheduler with team access at $67, SocialPilot adds bulk scheduling and white label from $140, and Cloud Campaign suits agencies that run evergreen queues under their own brand.
Which tools let clients approve posts without logging in?
Pallyy, SocialPilot, Metricool, Vista Social, Cloud Campaign, Agorapulse, Sked Social and ContentStudio all let clients approve from a link or an email without an account, and Sprout Social does it by email on its Advanced plan. Pallyy and Cloud Campaign include it on every paid plan, SocialPilot from Premium, Metricool and Vista Social from Advanced, Sked Social from Accelerate and ContentStudio from Advanced. Sendible, Planable and Hootsuite still need the client to hold an account.
How much does a social media management tool cost for 10 clients?
A 10-client agency with 3 staff, about 30 profiles, approvals and client reports pays between $67 and $1,197 a month depending on the tool. Metricool Advanced is $67, Pallyy Agency $99, ContentStudio Agency Unlimited $139, SocialPilot Premium $140, Vista Social Advanced $199, Sendible Premium $199 to $274, Cloud Campaign Team $344, Sked Social Accelerate $399, Planable $730, Agorapulse Advanced $897 on monthly billing, and Sprout Social and Hootsuite Advanced $1,197 on annual billing.
What is the cheapest white-label social media management tool?
SocialPilot Ultimate is the cheapest full white label at $200 a month, covering the dashboard colours, logo, custom domain, sending email and login page for 40 accounts with unlimited users. ContentStudio's $50 white-label add-on takes Agency Unlimited to $189 for unlimited workspaces and users, Cloud Campaign Team is $344 for 10 clients with standard white labelling, and Sendible's white label add-on takes its Elite plan to $349. Pallyy, Agorapulse and Metricool offer branded or custom reports without rebranding the dashboard.
Do agencies actually need white labelling?
Branded reports and an approval link that doesn't carry another company's name cover the client-facing surface when clients never log in, and a rebranded dashboard only matters when clients log in to a portal. If clients only ever see an approval link and a monthly PDF, Pallyy's custom domain for shared calendars plus custom reports covers it at $99. If clients log in to a portal under your name, budget $200 for SocialPilot Ultimate or $344 for Cloud Campaign Team.
Is per-seat or per-client pricing better for an agency?
Per-client pricing is almost always cheaper for an agency, because the people who need access (clients, approvers, freelancers) outnumber the people who publish. Three staff on a per-seat plan with approvals cost $647 to $1,197 a month at Agorapulse, Sprout Social and Hootsuite, while the same agency pays $67 to $344 on per-client or bundled plans at Metricool, Pallyy, SocialPilot and Cloud Campaign.
Which agency tools support X (Twitter)?
Pallyy, SocialPilot, Sendible, Planable, Sprout Social and Hootsuite include X publishing in their plans. Metricool charges $10 a month per X account, Vista Social charges a $29 a month add-on, and Agorapulse includes X publishing but charges $50 per profile for X inbox and reporting. Cloud Campaign does not publish to X at all.
What is the best free social media management tool for an agency?
No free plan covers an agency, because approvals, team users and client reports all sit on paid tiers. Metricool's free plan handles one brand, Pallyy's free plan covers 15 image posts a month on one social set, and Buffer's covers three channels for one person. For an agency the useful free option is a trial: SocialPilot, Vista Social, Sendible, Cloud Campaign, Sked Social, ContentStudio and Sprout Social all offer one without a card, and Pallyy's 14-day trial asks for card details but doesn't charge during the trial.
For the wider field beyond agency tools, our social media scheduling tools roundup compares 12 schedulers for every team size, and the Hootsuite alternatives and Buffer alternatives roundups cover the two most common tools agencies leave.
